This place just opened this week so we tried it out tonight, it's going to be our new go-to Mexican restaurants/bar. I'm hesitant to give it such a high rating because it's going to be harder to find a seat but I feel like I need to be fair to the new owners. They won't have their liquor license for a couple weeks but the bar area is awesome. Its at the back of the restaurant so you're not setting at the bar on display. May sound strange but I like bars that are in a separate room. Thanks for bringing a Mexican restaurant like this to Morristown, no doubt you will be very successful.

I’ve been to Senior Jalapeno twice now and I’ve enjoyed the food both times. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and flavorful and the salsa bar is a really nice touch. The servers are friendly and attentive. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because both visits have been really warm inside to the point of me sweating, and the lights feel super bright for a dinner setting. If they adjusted the temperature and lighting a bit, it would make the whole experience perfect. Overall though, great food and I’ll definitely go back.

This place blew our socks off. The staff were friendly and we struggled a bit with questions about entrees and appetizers due to a little bit of a language barrier... but... The house salsa rocks. My ACP was great and wifes burritos were great. My in-laws ordered a steak which looked incredible. Everything that came to our table was delicious and we cant wait to go back..

Best Mexican food that we’ve had since we came to Tennessee from California. It actually had flavor, great flavor. The servers were friendly and efficient. Quite the extensive menu. I had pork chile verde which came with rice and beans with flour tortillas. The chile verde was great. My wife had carne asada street taco which had good salsa and beans with corn tortillas. It was perfect.

Loved this new restaurant! Me and my husband and another couple went to eat there and had great food and a good time. The building is all Tennessee volunteer inside. The bar area looked amazing. The owner is really nice.

We tried this restaurant after waiting anxiously for it to open, and it was 100% worth the wait!! The staff are so friendly and helpful, even handling an accidental spilled drink with extreme professionalism and grace. And the food, it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! The Hawaiian Fajitas were amazing! Couldn’t recommend this place enough, will definitely be our new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Good food, nice place. I love that they have a salsa bar & the staff were very nice. While it wasnt busy when we went - I know once the word gets out this restaurant will be jumpin'
